Whenever we are in London (where I was born) we try to visit Brick Lane in Whitechapel, an area we have watched gentrifying over the years with mixed feelings. But so far, the ever-changing graffiti remains a reliable constant.
These images were shot on April 27, 2018. Joe’s Kid Café had now become Pho Village, but the mural of Joe hugging his little daughter (the former owner of the café) was still there.
